New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a Senior Oracle APEX Full-Stack Developer for a long-term engagement. The successful candidate will bring extensive software development experience, including recent hands-on Oracle APEX development, strong Oracle PL/SQL skills, and experience designing user interfaces for business applications.
This is a hybrid engagement supporting a client in the National Capital Region (NCR), and may include substantial onsite work.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain applications using Oracle Application Express (APEX).
- Develop and maintain complex Oracle PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, packages and triggers.
- Design application user interfaces and workflows based on user stories, business requirements and user needs.
- Support application development, enhancement, troubleshooting and ongoing maintenance.
- Work with development and database tools such as Oracle SQL Developer and Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders within a structured government environment.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience within the past 15 years working as a software developer and/or database modeller.
- Minimum 2 years of Oracle APEX application development experience within the past 5 years.
- Strong experience developing and maintaining applications using Oracle APEX.
- Strong Oracle PL/SQL experience, including complex queries, stored procedures, functions, packages and triggers.
- Experience designing application user interfaces, workflows, wireframes or prototypes based on business requirements or user needs.
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in engineering, science, computer science, mathematics or a technology domain.
Preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Access, Microsoft Azure DevOps, Oracle SQL Developer and/or APEX Office Print (AOP).
- Aviation or aerospace experience.
