About the Role
We are seeking an Audio-Visual Specialist to support meeting rooms, conferencing systems, and workplace events. The successful candidate will help users run meetings smoothly, maintain AV equipment, and resolve technical issues promptly.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, test, and troubleshoot AV equipment in meeting and conference rooms.
- Support hybrid meetings and video conferences, including Microsoft Teams meetings.
- Prepare and test rooms before meetings and provide live support when needed.
- Diagnose issues involving audio, video, displays, cameras, and connectivity.
- Perform preventive maintenance and coordinate repairs with vendors.
- Document incidents, solutions, and room configurations.
- Guide employees on the use of AV tools and meeting room technology.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience providing AV support in a professional environment.
- Knowledge of video conferencing systems, hybrid meeting rooms, and audio and video equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to respond calmly to time-sensitive issues.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and stay organized.
- Experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms or similar conferencing solutions is an asset.
