You will play an integral role in shaping the future of this thriving multi-sector organization. Reporting directly to the President, you will be responsible for all financial planning, risk management, and compliance, while supervising a finance and accounting team. This role requires bilingualism in English and French, along with previous experience in a senior finance position, where you proved yourself to be a calm, diplomatic, well-organized, and adaptable leader. Main responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute a detailed finance strategy that is aligned with the company’s objectives, while keeping stakeholders well-informed
- Serve as a strategic financial advisor to the ownership team, providing forward-thinking financial analysis and leadership to help the organization exceed performance targets
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
- Ensure full compliance with all applicable accounting standards, ensuring solid internal controls and audit processes
- Identify and address financial risks and exposures
- Build and lead a high-performing finance and accounting team, including hiring, mentoring, and employee development

Qualifications:
The main qualifications for this role include:
- Post-secondary education in finance and/or accounting
- Completed CPA designation is strongly preferred
- Minimum 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 5 years in a Controller / Director position
- Fluently bilingual (English / French)
- Experience in construction or real estate and/or an MBA in finance, strategy, or management would both be considered strong assets
How You Will Be Rewarded:
