Our client is seeking an Intermediate .NET Software Developer to support an internal web application used by its Transportation team for areas including rail logistics, fleet management and invoice reconciliation.
This is a hands-on development role focused on building and enhancing existing applications, dashboards, reports, pages and prototypes. The developer will work closely with the Tech Lead and business users, iterating quickly based on feedback. This is primarily an execution/development role rather than architecture or solution design.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance web applications using C#, ASP.NET Blazor and Entity Framework
- Build and optimize SQL Server solutions
- Develop front-end functionality using Blazor, HTML and CSS
- Integrate and deploy applications using Microsoft Azure
- Use Azure DevOps/Git for source control and sprint planning
- Build dashboards, reports, pages and prototypes within existing systems
- Participate in code reviews, testing and documentation
- Work directly with business users to quickly incorporate feedback
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on .NET/C# web development experience
- Experience with ASP.NET Blazor, Entity Framework and SQL Server, or closely transferable technologies
- Front-end development experience with HTML/CSS and strong UI/design sense
- Microsoft Azure experience
- Azure DevOps/Git experience
- Strong object-oriented programming and development fundamentals
- Ability to work collaboratively and deliver quickly in an iterative environment
- Must be able to work onsite in Calgary 3+ days/week
