Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in pitching.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
- Demonstrated experience in successfully securing sponsorships.
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills, with the persistence to follow up on outreach.
Main Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary external representative of Sauder Grad Night to outside parties.
- Represent the organization professionally in all external communications.
- Secure sponsorships, both in-kind and monetary, to enhance Grad Night initiatives and foster long-term partnerships through ongoing communication.
- Develop a compelling sponsorship package tailored to businesses.
- Participate in regular executive team meetings and contribute to decision-making.
- Other ad hoc tasks as needed to deliver one of the best experiences to the graduating class.
Anticipated Learning Outcomes
- Expanded your professional network through interactions with diverse sponsors and community partners.
- Enhanced project management skills by playing a key role in organizing the Graduation Night.
Time CommitmentApproximately 6 hours per week, with an increase to 10 hours during peak planning periods.
