Your New Company
Our client is a leading financial services organization undergoing significant digital transformation initiatives across enterprise data, AI, banking integration, risk, finance, treasury, and AML platforms. The organization is investing heavily in AI, agentic technologies, cloud platforms, and enterprise-scale solution architecture capabilities to support strategic business priorities.
Your New Role
The AI Solution Architect is a senior individual contributor within the Solutions Architecture team, responsible for designing, documenting, and delivering solution-level architecture for initiatives requiring AI, agentic, and machine learning capabilities. The role focuses on translating business and technical requirements into practical, implementable solution designs, including application architecture, integration patterns, data flows, and technology selection.
You will support multiple concurrent initiatives, including enterprise integration, customer information platforms, and AML/Risk/Finance/Treasury programs. Working closely with Enterprise Architecture, Data Governance, AI Centre of Enablement, and Cyber Security teams, you will ensure solutions are secure, scalable, compliant, and aligned to enterprise standards while remaining focused on delivering project-specific outcomes. The role primarily designs AI and agentic solutions on Microsoft Azure, with exposure to Google Cloud Platform where required.
What You Need to Do
Design and document solution architecture artifacts including component diagrams, integration diagrams, sequence diagrams, data flows, and technical specifications.
Translate business requirements into technical solution designs through workshops and stakeholder collaboration.
Select appropriate cloud services, technology components, and integration patterns including API, event-driven, and batch processing architectures.
Present architecture designs and technology intake requests through governance forums and incorporate review feedback.
Act as the lead solution architect for assigned AI, integration, and enterprise transformation initiatives.
Design end-to-end AI and agentic architectures including Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Vertex AI, RAG solutions, AI gateways, managed identities, private endpoints, security controls, and observability frameworks.
Design and implement stateful multi-agent workflows using LangGraph, LangChain, and LangSmith.
Define compliant AI data access and ingestion strategies across Azure and GCP data platforms.
Partner with AI, Security, IAM, and Governance teams to establish RBAC models, guardrails, and promotion paths from sandbox to production.
Evaluate emerging AI tools, platforms, models, and vendors through proof-of-concept initiatives.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to developers, business analysts, and architecture peers.
Collaborate with technology vendors and consulting partners on solution delivery and semantic modelling engagements.
Support production-related activities, governance requirements, and departmental initiatives as required.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of progressive IT experience, including 5+ years in Solution Architecture, Application Architecture, or Integration Architecture roles.
Demonstrated hands-on experience designing and delivering enterprise application, integration, and data solutions from design through implementation.
Strong experience architecting AI and agentic solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies including Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, APIM AI Gateways, AI Search, and vector databases.
Experience with Google Cloud Platform technologies including Vertex AI, Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, Agent Builder, Agent Engine, and BigQuery.
Strong hands-on expertise with LangGraph, LangChain, and LangSmith.
Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Agent2Agent (A2A) standards.
Knowledge of Responsible AI, AI governance, security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
Strong understanding of microservices, RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures, cloud-native design patterns, relational databases, and NoSQL technologies.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, Synapse Analytics, and Power BI.
Preferred certifications include Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure AI Engineer Associate, or Google Cloud Professional Machine Learning Engineer.
Prior experience within banking or financial services environments is highly preferred.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, technical documentation, and problem-solving skills.
What You'll Get in Return
You will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals in a dynamic and innovative environment, contributing to enterprise-scale AI and cloud transformation initiatives. This role offers exposure to modern AI technologies, agentic architectures, multi-cloud platforms, and high-profile financial services programs while providing opportunities for professional growth and technical leadership.
