Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst with a strong blend of Investment Management domain experience and technical data analysis expertise. The ideal candidate will leverage data to drive business insights, support investment-related decision-making, and collaborate with stakeholders across business and technology teams. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, advanced SQL skills, and the ability to transform complex data into meaningful recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights.
- Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries for data extraction, validation, and analysis.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support business and investment decisions.
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Perform data quality assessments, reconciliation, and validation activities.
- Support investment performance reporting, portfolio analytics, and operational reporting initiatives.
- Collaborate with technology, data, and business teams to improve reporting processes and data availability.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience working within the Investment Management industry.
- Strong technical data analysis experience with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL for querying, manipulating, and analyzing data.
- Experience with reporting, analytics, and data visualization tools.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- CFA Level I, II, or III.
- Experience supporting portfolio management, investment operations, risk reporting, or performance analytics.
- Familiarity with BI and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
