Registered Nurse (RN) – Correctional Centre
We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to join a Correctional Centre. This role focuses on urgent care, emergency response, mental health support, and essential healthcare services within a secure correctional environment.
Work Environment:
- Focus on urgent/emergency care and mental health
- Free on-site parking
- Staff room with fridge, microwave, and coffee maker
- No on-site cafeteria (nearby food options available)
Required Qualifications:
- Active British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) RN license in good standing
- BLS certification (or higher)
- Canadian Police Information Check (CPIC) with Vulnerable Sector clearance (must clear BC Corrections)
- Strong acute care and mental health experience
- Willingness to complete pre-site EMR and safety training
Preferred:
- Intermediate OFA (formerly OFA Level 2)
