Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room (OR)
Location: Burnaby, BC
Duration: April 1, 2026 – June 30, 2026
Shifts: Rotating 7.5-hour day and evening shifts (evenings may include call).
Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled RN – Operating Room to provide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care. The RN will perform circulating and scrub duties, maintain sterile technique, support the surgical team, and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide perioperative nursing care during surgical procedures
- Perform circulating and scrub roles (preferred)
- Maintain sterile field and ensure accurate surgical counts
- Monitor patient status and document care appropriately
- Collaborate with surgeons and interdisciplinary team members
Qualifications:
- Current registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
- Minimum 1 year recent Operating Room experience in Canada. (scrub and circulate preferred)
- Current CPR/BLS certification (required)
