Responsibilities
Transport patients safely and promptly to appointments and other hospital locations, assisting with transfers and remaining with patients during procedures when required. Handle specimens and patient-related materials, maintain clean and safe transport equipment, respond to assigned emergency codes, and perform other duties as needed.
Requirements
Secondary school completion, computer application proficiency, and at least one year of experience interacting with patients in a healthcare setting are required. Recent patient transport porter experience is preferred, along with the ability to work independently, communicate effectively, handle physical demands, and follow infection control and workplace safety requirements.
