Responsibilities
Prepare surgical case carts for routine, specialized, and emergency situations, and operate decontamination and sterilization equipment. Prepare and package sterile instruments and supplies while meeting quality indicators, and deliver and pick up supplies.
Requirements
An approved Sterile Supply Processing Certificate and prior MDRC Technician II experience are required; instrumentation experience is essential, and applicants with prior MDRC Technician II experience receive priority. Candidates should have broad knowledge of surgical services and complex instrumentation, with strong organizational, teamwork, problem-solving, case cart preparation, and computer skills; operating room technical experience is preferred.
