Responsibilities
Conduct tests offered in the Pulmonary Function Laboratory and calibrate and perform quality control on testing equipment. Follow laboratory procedures, maintain documentation and supply inventory, and ensure patient confidentiality and safety during testing.
Requirements
Requires an active Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist (RCPT(P)) credential and good standing with the Canadian Association of Cardiopulmonary Technologists, along with a bachelor's degree in biological sciences or a related discipline. Candidates need at least one year of experience and strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills, as well as adaptability and flexibility.
