We’re supporting a clean-tech engineering organization based in Mississauga developing next-generation technology focused on improving energy efficiency in commercial and industrial environments.
This is a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer role suited for an early-career engineer who wants broad exposure across manufacturing, production support, and cross-functional engineering operations in a fast-paced, product-focused environment.
What you’ll be doing
- Support
day-to-day manufacturing and production engineering activities across
prototype, pilot, and production builds
- Create
and maintain manufacturing documentation (work instructions, assembly
procedures, inspection criteria, test processes)
- Support
troubleshooting on the production floor and contribute to root cause
analysis and corrective actions
- Assist
with engineering change implementation and ensure documentation is
accurately updated and controlled
- Track
tasks and coordinate activities across engineering, manufacturing, supply
chain, and external suppliers using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps
- Support
continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, consistency, and
process reliability
- Work
closely with hardware, software, testing, and operations teams in a
cross-functional environment
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s
degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial,
Computer, Chemical, Biomedical, or related) or near graduation
- Co-op
or internship experience in manufacturing, production, or hardware
engineering environments strongly preferred
- Familiarity
with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar task/project tracking tools
- Strong
organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable
working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and real-time
problem solving
- Exposure
to manufacturing documentation, testing, or quality processes is an asset
