We are looking for an Manufacturing Supervisor to lead manufacturing activities while ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production outcomes. This role is responsible for guiding frontline teams, coordinating resources across departments, and maintaining steady progress against production targets. The successful candidate will bring strong leadership, sound operational judgment, and a continuous improvement mindset to support daily performance and long-term effectiveness.
This is a full time role, with day time hours of Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day production activities to keep output on track with schedules, service expectations, and operational priorities.
- Provide direction, coaching, and ongoing support to production employees and team leads across assigned areas or shifts.
- Review workflow, labour coverage, and equipment capacity to improve throughput and reduce interruptions.
- Resolve operational issues quickly and work with internal partners to limit downtime and maintain consistent plant performance.
- Maintain effective coordination with Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, and other teams to support smooth operations.
- Reinforce a safe work environment by leading safety discussions, inspections, incident follow-up, and corrective actions.
- Uphold compliance with workplace policies, manufacturing procedures, and applicable health and safety standards.
- Investigate product or process concerns and contribute to corrective and preventive measures that protect quality standards.
- Champion continuous improvement efforts, including Lean practices, 5S, Kaizen, waste reduction, and productivity enhancements.
- Track operational metrics, prepare performance updates for leadership, and support workforce planning and resource allocation decisions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing operations, production supervision, or related leadership role.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, deliver training, and support employee development in a production environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, workflow coordination, and performance management principles.
- Experience working with ERP systems and production-related software tools; familiarity with CRM, data processing, or Epic software is considered an asset.
- Working knowledge of workplace safety practices, regulatory compliance, and incident investigation processes.
