Our client is a pre-revenue junior mining company operating in a lean, entrepreneurial environment and funded through the capital markets.
As the organization continues to build its internal infrastructure, they are looking to add a Senior Accountant to support the Director of Financial Reporting & Controllership. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a broad mandate and wants exposure well beyond traditional accounting.
This is a highly visible role for a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys working in a lean environment and is comfortable wearing multiple hats.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable operating in a lean, hands-on environment where priorities can shift quickly

Mining experience is not required. Candidates from other industries will be considered, particularly those who have worked in public companies, high-growth organizations or environments where they have had broad accounting and analytical responsibilities.
The ideal candidate is a true generalist who enjoys being close to the numbers. They're not someone who wants a narrowly defined accounting role. They enjoy understanding the business behind the numbers, building models, analyzing data, improving processes and taking on whatever needs to get done.
Someone coming from a public-company environment would be particularly valuable, but the company is open to candidates from a variety of industries who can demonstrate strong analytical skills, financial modelling experience and a broad accounting foundation.
