We are looking for a Warehouse Associate to support computer equipment handling and preparation activities in a warehouse environment in Mississauga, Ontario. This Contract position is ideal for someone who is comfortable handling computer hardware and takes pride in organized, detail-focused work. The successful candidate will assist with unpacking, cleaning, inventorying, and packaging PCs and monitors for shipment.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unpack PCs, monitors, and other computer equipment while handling items carefully to prevent damage.
- Clean and wipe down monitors and computer equipment before they are prepared for shipment.
- Track and maintain accurate inventory of equipment being received, processed, and shipped.
- Package PCs, monitors, and related equipment securely with the appropriate components and protective materials.
- Inspect equipment for visible damage or missing items and report any concerns.
- Assist with the movement, setup, disassembly, and boxing of computer equipment as required.
- Maintain an orderly workspace and ensure equipment is processed accurately and efficiently.
- Be comfortable standing for the majority of the shift while completing warehouse and equipment-handling tasks.
