Senior Information Lifecycle Management Analyst (Senior Information/Records Management/Recordkeeping Specialist)

Overview
We are currently looking for a Senior Information Lifecycle Management Analyst to support a Federal Government client on a contract running through October 31, 2027.
An active Government of Canada SECRET Clearance is mandatory.
This role will support a major information lifecycle modernization initiative focused on records management, information governance, retention and disposition, and Microsoft 365 compliance capabilities within a large federal organization.
The successful candidate will work with stakeholders and subject matter experts to assess current information management practices, define business requirements, conduct gap analyses, and support the development of future-state information governance solutions.
Project Background
This initiative supports the modernization of information management and records governance practices, including:
- Records retention and disposition
- Information lifecycle management
- Information governance and compliance
- Metadata and classification frameworks
- SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 environments
- Microsoft Purview capabilities
- Enterprise records management modernization
Work Location & Conditions
The Contractor's resource will:
- Work primarily remotely
- Attend NCR-area federal facilities when required
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct current-state assessments and gap analyses
- Analyze records management and information lifecycle practices
- Define and document business requirements
- Engage stakeholders and facilitate consultations
- Develop options analyses and recommendations
- Assess information governance and compliance capabilities
- Prepare reports, briefings, presentations, and decision-support materials
- Support Microsoft 365 information governance initiatives
- Provide advice relating to records retention, disposition, metadata, classification, and information lifecycle management
Mandatory Requirements
MT.1 – Information Management / Records Management Experience
Must demonstrate a minimum of 60 months of experience within the last 96 months performing:
- Information Management
- Records Management
- Recordkeeping
- Records Retention
- Records Disposition
- Information Lifecycle Management responsibilities
MT.2 – Policy & Governance Experience
Must demonstrate a minimum of 36 months of experience within the last 72 months:
- Interpreting
- Applying
- Implementing
- Assessing compliance with
- Providing advice regarding
Information Management, Records Management, Recordkeeping, Retention, Disposition, Classification, Metadata, or Information Lifecycle policies, standards, frameworks, or guidance.
MT.3 – Analysis Experience
Must demonstrate a minimum of 24 months of experience within the last 72 months conducting:
- Current-state assessments
- Gap analyses
- Requirements analysis
- Options analysis
- Recommendation development
related to Information Management, Records Management, Recordkeeping, or Information Lifecycle Management.
MT.4 – Stakeholder Engagement Experience
Must demonstrate a minimum of 24 months of experience within the last 72 months engaging multiple stakeholder groups to:
- Gather requirements
- Validate findings
- Analyze operational needs
- Support decision-making
related to Information Management, Records Management, Recordkeeping, or Information Lifecycle Management.
Highly Desirable Experience (Rated Criteria)
Candidates will be strongly preferred if they possess demonstrated experience with:
- Extensive Information Management and Records Management initiatives
- Information lifecycle management modernization projects
- Current-state assessments, gap analyses, and business requirements development
- Multi-stakeholder engagement across large organizations
- Microsoft 365 Compliance and Information Governance capabilities including:
- Microsoft Purview Records Management

- eDiscovery
- Content Search
- Similar enterprise records/compliance platforms
