Hiring: Corporate Action Notifications Specialist (12-Month Contract)
Location: Hybrid (Toronto - 250 Yonge St. | 1x/week to 1x/month on-site)
Compensation: $30-$34/hr (T4) | $38-$40/hr (Incorporated)

Are you a subject matter expert in Corporate Actions looking for a long-term contract with a major financial institution? My client is looking for a Corporate Action Notifications Specialist to join their Asset Servicing team.
In this role, you will own the full lifecycle of corporate action notifications, ensuring global cash, securities, and market events are accurately communicated, settled, and recorded.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full lifecycle of corporate action notifications (received via SWIFT).
- Extract, format, and process data using specialized operations systems to ensure timely and accurate recording of global transactions.
- Monitor operational controls to mitigate risk (e.g., missed notice deadlines) and maintain regulatory compliance.
- Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders (market depositories) to resolve operational discrepancies.
Must-Haves:
- 2-3 years of core experience in Corporate Actions.
- Hands-on system experience with SWIFT, Broadridge, SharePoint, and MyLink.
- Strong understanding of market depositories (CDS, DTC, Foreign Depos, Citi) that announce events.
- Excellent data extraction, technical, and analytical skills.
- Background at institutions like State Street or TD Bank is a strong asset.
