📋 Position Overview
As a Senior Business Systems Analyst (BSA V), you will act as a subject matter expert driving the system assessment, data mapping, and implementation of new vendor modules required for the USTC program for the margining of sponsored clients.
This role requires deep technical and business expertise in the OTC and Repo Margining modules of the Vermeg Colline (CMOS) application hosted on bank infrastructure. You will evaluate the upgrades required to introduce these new modules, assess upstream/downstream integrations, draft comprehensive requirements, and see the program through UAT, regression testing, and go-live deployment.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
- Vendor Module & System Analysis: Analyze and assess new vendor features required for the USTC program. Evaluate upgrades to the Colline application to introduce new modules and identify the systemic changes needed across the existing CMOS environment.
- End-to-End Integration Management: Assess integration impacts across existing upstream and downstream data feeds. Map data ingestion and publishing requirements.
- Requirements & Agile Documentation: Lead requirement-gathering workshops, translate business needs into detailed system requirements, write functional specifications, and develop clear user stories.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Design and execute UAT strategies for new modules. Oversee rigorous regression testing of legacy system modules to ensure zero disruption to production.
- Deployment & Go-Live: Collaboratively build cut-over strategies, run-books, and deployment plans to prepare the platform for successful production go-live.
🎓 Job Requirements
Must-Have Skills & Experience:
- Vendor Software Expertise: Deep hands-on experience working with the OTC and Repo Margining modules of the Vermeg Colline (or CMOS) application.
- Capital Markets Domain Mastery: 14+ years of experience within Capital Markets, demonstrating an expert-level understanding of Risk Methodologies, Trade Products, the End-to-End Trade Life Cycle, OTC Derivatives, and Collateral Management.
- Senior BSA Core Competencies: Extensive experience in business systems analysis, structuring complex data ingestion pipelines, writing user stories in Agile environments, and managing system-level testing.
- QA & UAT Leadership: Proven experience leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles and regression testing for high-value transactional systems.
- Overall Professional Experience: 10+ years of total experience operating as a Senior Business Systems Analyst or Business Architect in banking or market infrastructure environments.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Academic background or degree in Finance, Economics, or a quantitative discipline.
- Strong data analysis skills using SQL for data mining and querying.
- Intermediate Excel capabilities (data manipulation, VLOOKUPs, modeling).
- Basic exposure to Python for automated scripting or data processing.
