Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with 8-12 years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, source code management, build automation, and infrastructure automation. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in DevOps methodologies, GitHub Actions, and modern software delivery practices to support scalable and reliable application deployments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient and reliable software delivery.
- Manage and maintain source code repositories using version control systems such as Git and SVN.
- Implement and optimize build automation processes using tools such as Maven, Gradle, and Ant.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, Bash, PowerShell, and YAML.
- Create, manage, and optimize GitHub Actions workflows following industry best practices.
- Configure and maintain CI/CD pipeline components including jobs, steps, actions, and runners.
- Collaborate closely with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to streamline deployment processes.
- Troubleshoot build, deployment, and automation issues across different environments.
- Ensure adherence to DevOps best practices, security standards, and operational excellence.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8-12 years of experience in DevOps, Build & Release Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Strong proficiency with Version Control Systems such as:
- Git
- SVN
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, including:
- Jenkins
- Travis CI
- CircleCI
- Experience with Build Automation Tools, including:
- Maven
- Gradle
- Ant
- Strong scripting and automation experience using:
- Python
- Bash
- PowerShell
- YAML
- Good understanding of GitHub Actions, workflow design, and CI/CD best practices.
- Experience working with Jobs, Steps, Actions, and Runners within automated deployment pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Exposure to cloud-native DevOps practices and infrastructure automation.
