Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Absence Lead to lead the design, configuration, implementation, and support of Oracle Fusion Cloud Absence Management solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong functional expertise in Oracle Cloud HCM, with deep knowledge of absence plans, accrual calculations, carryover policies, eligibility rules, approvals, integrations, reporting, and payroll/time management processes. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, HR teams, payroll teams, and technical resources to deliver scalable and compliant absence management solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation, enhancement, and support of Oracle Cloud Absence Management solutions.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into Oracle Cloud HCM Absence Management configurations.
- Design and configure absence plans, enrollment requirements, eligibility profiles, accrual formulas, carryover rules, waiting periods, and vesting schedules.
- Configure absence types, absence categories, certifications, reasons, and approval workflows.
- Develop and maintain fast formulas related to absence accruals, eligibility, validations, and entitlement calculations.
- Collaborate with Payroll and Time & Labor teams to ensure seamless integration of absence transactions with payroll processing and workforce management.
- Configure and troubleshoot absence-related integrations using HCM Data Loader (HDL), HCM Extracts, REST/SOAP APIs, and third-party systems.
- Support data conversion, testing, cutover activities, and production deployments during implementation projects.
- Conduct system testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and defect resolution.
- Create functional design documents, configuration workbooks, test scripts, user guides, and support documentation.
- Provide production support, issue resolution, and ongoing optimization of Absence Management processes.
- Work with business stakeholders to recommend best practices and process improvements aligned with Oracle Cloud capabilities.
- Lead workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, and knowledge-transfer activities with clients and internal teams.
- Mentor junior consultants and provide guidance on Oracle Cloud Absence Management best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 6-10+ years of experience with Oracle HCM Cloud, including 3-5+ years focused on Oracle Cloud Absence Management.
- Minimum one full lifecycle Oracle Cloud HCM implementation with significant Absence Management involvement.

- Eligibility Profiles

- Fast Formulas
- Absence Validations and Restrictions
- Strong understanding of Oracle HCM modules and their interaction with Absence Management.
- Experience with HCM Data Loader (HDL), HCM Extracts, BI Publisher, OTBI, and reporting.
- Experience integrating Absence Management with Payroll, Time & Labor, and other HCM modules.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM: Absence Management Certification (Current Release).
- Additional Oracle Cloud HCM certifications preferred.
- Experience with Global HR, Payroll, Time & Labor, Benefits, and Workforce Scheduling.
- Experience leading client workshops and managing offshore/onshore teams.
- Exposure to Agile and Waterfall project delivery methodologies.
