Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, organizing, analyzing, and interpreting data to support business decision-making. This role requires strong analytical thinking, advanced Excel proficiency, excellent communication skills, and the ability to solve problems efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, validate, and maintain data from various sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Perform data entry, data cleansing, and data quality checks.
- Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
- Create, maintain, and enhance reports, dashboards, and spreadsheets using Advanced Excel.
- Utilize Excel functions such as Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, Conditional Formatting, and formulas for data analysis.
- Support business teams by providing data-driven recommendations and insights.
- Investigate data discrepancies and resolve issues through effective problem-solving.
- Prepare and present findings clearly to stakeholders and team members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting requirements and business needs.
- Maintain documentation of processes, data sources, and reporting methodologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in Data Analysis, Data Entry, or a related field.
- Strong experience with Advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Understanding of data analysis techniques and reporting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools.
- Basic knowledge of SQL, Power BI, or Tableau is an asset.
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
