Maintenance Technician

Salary: $57,000 to $60,000 annually

About the Role
We are seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians to join a growing residential property management team in Toronto.
In this hands-on role, you will help maintain residential suites, common areas, amenities, and building systems while delivering excellent service to residents. The ideal candidate combines strong technical abilities with professionalism, reliability, and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to resident maintenance requests and complete repairs promptly
- Troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and general building issues
- Perform carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, and cabinetry repairs
- Complete suite turnovers and ensure units are move-in ready
- Inspect building systems, common areas, and amenity spaces
- Coordinate contractors and monitor the quality of completed work
- Maintain accurate service and repair records
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours emergencies
Qualifications
- Previous residential or building maintenance experience
- Strong troubleshooting and general repair skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage changing priorities
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Availability for rotating on-call coverage and occasional weekend work
- Trade certification, apprenticeship training, or a relevant diploma is considered an asset
Compensation and Benefits
- $57,000 to $60,000 annual salary

Schedule
Standard hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This is a fully onsite role with rotating on-call coverage and occasional weekend work as required. Candidates must be able to reach assigned properties within a reasonable timeframe while on call.
