Your new role
Reporting to the Director, Property Management, you will support a commercial real estate portfolio and play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of tenant relations and property management operations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day operations and financial performance of a mixed-use commercial real estate portfolio.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, clients, contractors, and key stakeholders.
- Manage operating and capital budgets, financial reporting, invoice approvals, and portfolio performance.
- Mentor, develop, and support property management team members while fostering a collaborative culture.
- Ensure compliance with lease obligations, corporate governance requirements, and health & safety policies.
- Oversee property inspections, maintenance programs, and vendor service delivery.
- Drive tenant satisfaction through proactive communication and efficient issue resolution.
- Support sustainability initiatives, environmental programs, and industry engagement activities.
- Prepare operational reports and implement policies, procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage special projects and strategic initiatives as required.
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial property management.
- Experience using Yardi or a similar property management platform.
- Strong understanding of commercial leases and property operations.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle.
- Valid BCFSA Rental License.
