Raise is currently hiring a
SSC Service Center Administrator on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Our Client, the third largest producer of Canadian oil and natural gas and the second largest refiner and upgrader with extensive midstream and downstream infrastructure.
Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.
Description
The SSC Service Center Administrator will provide procurement administration support for Corporate, Capital, and Atlantic Operations. The role is responsible for managing the end-to-end purchase order lifecycle, supporting invoice and payment inquiries, and ensuring timely processing of procurement transactions.
Responsibilities
- Create purchase requisitions based on business requirements.
- Monitor and manage requisition approval workflows.
- Create and approve purchase orders within delegated authority limits.
- Attach supporting documentation to purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
- Monitor purchase order approvals and transmit approved purchase orders to suppliers.
- Create Service Entry Sheets (SES) for applicable service purchase orders.
- Confirm receipt of materials and services.
- Manage the full purchase order lifecycle, including:
- Invoice issue resolution
- GR/IR clearing
- Vendor payment support
- Purchase order closure
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve transactional issues.
- Respond to business inquiries via email and phone.
- Communicate directly with vendors to resolve procurement-related issues.
- Ensure accurate purchase order setup, including:
- Tax codes
- Payment terms
- Delivery dates
- Cost object alignment
- Support invoice issue resolution in conjunction with automated payment systems.
Qualifications
- 2 to 4 years of experience in procurement administration, supply chain support, or accounts payable/receivable within a corporate or industrial environment (such as oil and gas, energy, or corporate shared services).
- Hands-on experience managing the complete procurement lifecycle from requisition to closure - creating and approving purchase requisitions and purchase orders within delegated limits, handling Service Entry Sheets (SES), confirming goods/services receipts, and executing systematic GR/IR (Goods Receipt/Invoice Receipt) clearing and PO closures.
- Proficiency in enterprise resource planning (ERP) or procurement systems (such as SAP, Oracle, or Salesforce) with a strong eye for financial data accuracy.
- Experience working with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Education and Certifications
- High School Diploma required at a minimum.
