About The Opportunity
Join a B2C Digital Experience team supporting Uniprix and Proxim pharmacy customers across a web application platform, iOS mobile application, and Android mobile application. As Lead UX/UI Designer, you will own and drive the end-to-end user experience across mobile (iOS & Android), web applications, and websites - defining the UX/UI vision, building a scalable design system, and acting as a strategic partner to Product, Engineering, and Business teams within a multidisciplinary in-house Agile team of 19 professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- UX/UI Leadership & Strategy: Own and drive the UX/UI vision across mobile and web platforms; define and evolve a unified design system and visual language used across iOS, Android, and web; champion user-centered design and accessibility best practices.
- Design Execution: Design intuitive, high-quality interfaces; create wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity prototypes; ensure responsive, mobile-first design principles are consistently applied.
- User Experience Optimization: Plan and conduct user research, usability testing, and design validation; translate insights into actionable design improvements and measurable UX outcomes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product Managers and Engineering throughout discovery, delivery, and iteration; provide UX/UI guidance during backlog refinement and sprint planning; review and validate implementation for design quality and consistency.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current on UX/UI trends, mobile platform guidelines, and emerging technologies; incorporate feedback from users and stakeholders to continuously improve the experience.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Proven experience leading UX/UI design for mobile apps and web applications.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX ownership, design systems, and mobile-first solutions.
- Deep understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and cross-platform UX challenges.
- Hands-on expertise with tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
- Experience working in agile product teams and collaborating closely with developers.
- Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Miro.
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence design decisions across disciplines.
- Experience designing cross-platform apps across iOS, Android, and web.
- Proven expertise in Design Thinking and Design Systems, including implementation and governance of design tokens.
- Proven expertise integrating AI-powered tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Figma AI, etc.) into the UI/UX lifecycle to accelerate design, prototyping, and development delivery.
- Strong understanding of iOS Human Interface Guidelines (HIG) and Android Material Design guidelines.
- Proven ability to design end-to-end UX flows, from concept to final UI.
- Ability to iterate quickly in an Agile environment and adapt to change.
- Strong grasp of UX writing and interface content standards.
- Fluent in English and French.
