Role: LCNC Solution Specialist (Bilingual)
Type: 7 Months Contract (possibility of extension)
Role Overview
The LCNC (Low-Code/No-Code) Solution Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing a centralized documentation management solution that supports the complete lifecycle of operational procedures. This role focuses on creating intuitive, user-centered applications and workflow automations that enable the creation, review, approval, publication, distribution, compliance tracking, and ongoing management of operational documentation. The specialist works closely with business stakeholders to deliver efficient digital experiences that improve collaboration, governance, compliance, and operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Development
- Design, develop, and maintain low-code/no-code applications supporting operational procedure management.
- Build user-friendly interfaces for authors, reviewers, approvers, employees, and compliance administrators.
- Ensure solutions align with business requirements, usability standards, and organizational objectives.
- Continuously improve application functionality, performance, and user experience.
User Experience & Interface Development
- Develop intuitive experiences for:
- Procedure creation, editing, and version management.
- Review and collaboration workflows.
- Approval and decision-making processes.
- Employee access, compliance acknowledgements, and procedure consumption.
- Provide real-time visibility into procedure status, workflow progress, review activities, approvals, and compliance metrics.
- Simplify complex processes through effective UX/UI design and automation.
Workflow Automation & Lifecycle Management
- Design and maintain automated workflows for:
- Procedure creation and updates.
- Review coordination and assignment management.
- Approval routing and escalation.
- Publication and distribution processes.
- Compliance acknowledgement campaigns.
- Reminder notifications and scheduled reviews.
- Document archiving, retirement, and replacement activities.
- Ensure procedures are accurately managed throughout their lifecycle.
Compliance & Communication Management
- Develop mechanisms to distribute procedures to targeted user groups.
- Support notification and acknowledgement campaigns across multiple operational audiences.
- Create dashboards and reporting capabilities for tracking compliance, completion rates, outstanding acknowledgements, and communication effectiveness.
- Enable auditability through version history, approval records, and acknowledgement tracking.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with business users, subject matter experts, managers, and compliance teams to gather requirements and improve processes.
- Support testing, deployment, user adoption, and ongoing enhancements.
- Provide recommendations for process optimization and digital transformation opportunities.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience developing Microsoft Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint Online, and Dataverse, with a strong focus on low-code/no-code application development.
- Proven expertise in workflow automation, document management, approval processes, compliance tracking, notifications, and lifecycle management solutions.
- Strong experience in UX/UI design, requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, and translating business needs into scalable, user-centric digital solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across cross-functional teams; bilingual proficiency in English and French is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with document lifecycle management, approval workflows, and compliance-based applications.
- Knowledge of notification, distribution, and acknowledgement processes.
- Familiarity with operational, regulated, or mission-critical environments.
- Experience developing reporting, dashboards, and analytics capabilities.
