Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a People & Performance Benefits Specialist to join a leading insurance organization in Surrey, BC. This individual will serve as the subject matter expert for employee benefits programs, partnering closely with HR, Payroll, vendors, and leadership to ensure the successful administration, enhancement, and compliance of the organization’s total rewards offerings.
The ideal candidate brings strong experience in benefits administration, disability management, and vendor relations, along with a passion for creating a positive employee experience through competitive and effective benefits programs.
Required Skills & Experience
3+ years of experience in employee benefits administration, compensation, total rewards, or HR benefits
Strong knowledge of group health, dental, retirement, disability, and wellness programs
Experience managing benefits vendors, renewals, and employee benefit communications
Understanding of employment legislation and benefits-related compliance requirements
Experience working with HRIS systems and benefits data management
Strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
CPHR (Chartered Professional in Human Resources) designation or working toward completion
CEBS (Certified Employee Benefit Specialist) designation or working toward completion
Experience supporting benefits programs during M&A integrations
Experience developing employee wellness initiatives and engagement programs
Background working within a large, multi-location organization
