Contract Duration: 12 months (with opportunity for extension)
Target Rate: T4: $80-$84 | IC: $92-$100
Overview
We are seeking a Portfolio Scrum Master to support a high-priority Artificial Intelligence portfolio within Commercial Banking. In this role, you will operate above the single-team level, facilitating collaboration and delivery across multiple agile teams while partnering closely with Portfolio Leaders and Agile Coaches.
Core Responsibilities:
- Productivity & Delivery: Facilitate collaboration across multiple agile teams, partner with leadership to maintain portfolio-level delivery roadmaps, and manage cross-team dependencies, risks, and impediments.
- Quality & Continuous Improvement: Lead leadership retrospectives to drive portfolio-level continuous improvement. Consolidate team roadmaps and track/report on consolidated KPIs and metrics for all agile teams within the portfolio.
- Governance & Ceremonies: Lead portfolio ceremonies, including Scrum of Scrums sessions, and proactively identify, escalate, and mitigate risks and obstacles to ensure sustainable delivery.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master operating at the Portfolio level (e.g., managing multiple teams, Release Train Engineer duties).
- Strong background in Financial Institutions, specifically Commercial Banking.
- Relevant expertise supporting AI / Machine Learning portfolios and understanding their unique delivery lifecycles.
- Demonstrated ability to consolidate metrics, manage portfolio roadmaps, and drive agile maturity alongside Agile Coaches.
