Job Description
Insight Global is seeking SOC Analysts to support a 24/7 Global Security Operations Center (SOC) operating across rotating shifts. This role is responsible for monitoring, triaging, investigating, escalating, and responding to cybersecurity incidents while leveraging SIEM, EDR, and SOAR technologies. Depending on experience, candidates may support or lead incident response efforts, threat hunting initiatives, process improvements, automation development, and mentorship of junior analysts.
Required Qualifications
1-8+ years of SOC, cybersecurity, or incident response experience
Active Government of Canada Secret Clearance (Level II)
Experience with QRadar and Trend Micro
Exposure to SIEM, EDR, and security monitoring technologies (Splunk, Sentinel, CrowdStrike considered assets)
Knowledge of Windows, Active Directory, Linux, and network security concepts
Experience investigating, triaging, and responding to security alerts and incidents
Strong understanding of cybersecurity threats, attack techniques, and incident response processes
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with SOAR platforms and security automation
Threat hunting and advanced incident investigation experience
Scripting experience (Python, PowerShell, etc.)
Experience with REST APIs and integrations
Knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, MITRE ATT&CK, and SOC maturity frameworks
Experience developing runbooks, playbooks, and security processes
Compensation:
$23/hr to $59/hr
