🌊 About the Opportunity
We’re currently seeking an experienced ER Registered Nurse to support healthcare delivery in the Bella Bella community in partnership with Vancouver Coastal Health.
This position offers the chance to work in a fast-paced emergency setting where no two days are the same. You’ll handle a wide range of cases - from trauma to acute medical conditions - while utilizing your Med-Surg background to guide clinical decisions and ensure continuity of care.
Working in a remote coastal location, you’ll not only grow professionally but also contribute meaningfully to a close-knit community.
🩺 What You’ll Be Doing
- Assess and triage patients efficiently based on urgency of care
- Deliver prompt treatment for emergencies, injuries, and acute illnesses
- Initiate IVs, administer medications, and perform critical interventions
- Closely observe patient progress and act swiftly when conditions change
- Work alongside physicians and healthcare teams to coordinate care
- Support patient stabilization and arrange transfers when needed
- Apply Med-Surg knowledge in evaluating and managing patient needs

✅ What We’re Looking For
- Current RN registration with BCCNM in good standing
- At least 1 year of ER or Med-Surgical nursing experience
- ACLS certification (mandatory)
- BLS/CPR certification (mandatory)
- TNCC and CTAS certifications (preferred)
